Establishing a panel is the second step in the WTO’s dispute settlement process, which includes an assessment by three independent experts in trade law to determine whether the measures taken by a WTO member conform with the WTO law.

On 24 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis participated remotely in the G7+ Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Ukraine Energy Sector Support at the invitation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Landsbergis discussed the need to deliver equipment to restore and strengthen Ukraine’s energy sector due to the Russian attacks with representatives from the world’s largest economies.
