Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania H.E. Mr. Vygaudas UŠACKAS during his official visit  to the State of Israel on 16-17 December 2009  will be  visiting  Interdisciplinary  Center (IDC) Herzliya on 17 December 2009:

At 9:45  he will have a meeting with Mr. Jonathan Davis, Vice-president of IDC Herzliya for External Relations and the Head of the Raphael Recanati International School and  prof. Alex Mintz, Dean of Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy. Memorandum of Understanding between IDC Herzliya and Kaunas Vytautas Magnus university of Lithuania will be signed.

At 10:00 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania will open the Israeli-Lithuanian Forum of Intellectuals in which the outstanding Israeli and Lithuanian professors will discuss  “Nation State and Nationalism in the Twenty First Century”.

At 10:30 the  Minister of the Foreign Affairs of Lithuania will give a lecture to the students of IDC Herzliya “Lithuania: Challenges and Opportunities”.
