AMBASSADOR D. DEGUTIS PRESENTED HIS CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF ISRAEL SHIMON PERES

On 30 September 2009 Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the State of Israel Darius Degutis presented his Credentials to the President of Israel Shimon Peres.

During the conversation following presentation of Credentials President Shimon Peres higly appreciated partnership between Lithuania and Israel, stressed the importance of utilizing great potential of cooperation in the spheres of business, tourism, modern technologies and culture. President Peres spoke of Vilnius as the world center of Jewish cultural life and expressed his intention to pay a visit to Lithuania next year.
