AMBASSADOR OF LITHUANIA MET WITH THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF ISRAEL

On 10 June 2010 Ambassador of Lithuania Darius Degutis had a meeting with the Director General of the Ministry of Education of Israel Dr. Shimshon Shoshani.

The Ambassador informed Director General that Lithuanian Education Exchanges Support Foundation granted two scholarships to the students of Hebrew university in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv university for Lithuanian language and culture summer courses.

Prospects of future cooperation between Lithuania and Israel in the sphere of education, possibilities of cooperation between schools and student exchange programmes were also discuseed during the meeting.
