Ambassador took part in Holocaust Commemoration Event in Jerusalem

Ambassador E.Bagdonas took part in the Holocaust Commemoration Event organized by America Jewish Committee (AJC).

During the event the story of Japanese Consul Chiune Sugihara was remembered. Diplomat Sugihara issued visas to thousands of Jews saving them from the Holocaust. In the photo: ambassador Bagdonas with Japanese ambassador Koji Tomita, AJC Jerusalem office director Avital Leibovich and Nina Admoni, who was saved by Sugihara.
