Bilateral cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organizations discussed in the Lithuanian – Israeli political consultations in Jerusalem

On 31 st May 2016 bilateral political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Israel and Lithuania took place in Jerusalem.
During the consultations, the Director of the UN, International Organizations and Human Rights Department ambassador Oskaras Jusys met with the Deputy Director General, U.N. & International Organizations, ambassador Aharon Leshno Yaar. During the consultations, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Israel within the framework of the UN and other international organizations. In addition, the Israeli representatives expressed their appreciation for the Lithuanian role in Middle East Peace Process during the Lithuanian non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council 2014-2015.
