CHAIRMAN OF ISRAEL – EU CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY CALLS FOR STRENGHTENING OF THE RELATIONS WITH LITHUANIA
On 16th July 2013 the Chairman of Israeli – European Union Chamber of Commerce and Industry G. Propper together with the executives of the Manufacturers Association of Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Lithuanian Embassy and met with the Ambassador of Lithuania D. Degutis and Commercial Attache K. Biraitė.
During the meeting the cooperation between Israeli – EU Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Lithuanian Embassy was discussed. The parties agreed to jointly organize the event on innovations under Lithuanian Presidency of European Union, which is planned to take place in November in Tel Aviv. The significance of promoting a partnership in technology and innovation between the two countries was noted.
The parties expressed satisfaction of the excellent development of economic cooperation – bilateral trade and tourism doubled during the last 3 years, number of direct flights is increasing – starting from the autumn of 2013 there will be 2 weekly flights from Vilnius to Tel Aviv.
