CHAIRMAN OF SEIMAS FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA IN ISRAEL

On 15 March 2010 Emanuelis Zingeris, Chairman of Seimas Foreign Affairs Committee of the Republic of Lithuania participated in the 8th “Go4Europe” business conference which took place in Israel, Tel Aviv. The conference was devoted to promote and strengthen Israeli-European contacts. Emanuelis Zingeris in his speech at the conference concentrated on European Union and Israeli relations.On the same day he met with Mr. Tzachi Hanegbi, Chairman of Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Knesset of Israel. At the meeting possibilities of deepening EU-Israeli parliamentary cooperation were discussed.Chairman of Seimas Foreign Affairs Committee and Vice-minister of Economy of Lithuania Mindaugas Petrauskas who is in Israel on a working visit have also met with the Honorary Consuls of Lithuania in Israel and Chairman of Israel-Lithuania Chamber of Commerce.
