"Commemorating "Visas for Life" on Holocaust Remembrance Day"

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day we pay tribute to Chiune Sugihara, a Japanese diplomat and Righteous Among the Nations who saved thousands of Jews in Soviet-occupied Lithuania in 1940 by issuing “visas for life”.

We are sharing a joint op-ed of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Motegi Toshimitsu, published in "Jerusalem Post" newspaper (in English).
