Deputy Foreign Minister invited members of the Lithuanian Jewish Diaspora Organizations to actively participate in the World Lithuanian Economic Forum events in Israel

On May 12, 2015 the Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Mantvydas Bekešius met with the representatives of the Jewish organizations from Lithuania in Israel “Beit Vilna” and “Association of Lithuanian Jews in Israel”.
M. Bekešius told about the Lithuanian initiatives in protecting the Jewish cultural heritage in Lithuania, about Holocaust education and remembrance projects. He also conveyed a letter from the Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius thanking the Veterans of the Second World War living in Israel.
The Deputy Minister also invited to actively participate in the World Lithuanian Economic Forum this year to be held in Israel on 19-21 October.
