DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM TEL AVIV TO VILNIUS RELAUNCHED
Israeli company “Sundor” is renewing its seasonal direct regular flight from Tel Aviv to Vilnius as of 10 June. Flights are scheduled to operate every week on Mondays.
“Sundor” is a full subsidiary of “El Al Israel Airlines”. It was established in 1977 mainly as a charter operator. The company mostly operates flights to popular holiday destinations.
Vilnius is an increasingly popular destination among Israeli travelers, tourism volume from Israel to Lithuania doubled over a three-year period. It is expected, that other airlines will take into account the growing number of travelers and will consider launching the direct flight between Tel Aviv and Vilnius. It is believed, that the implementation of the EU-Israel “Open Skies” agreement which will start in 2014 will create new possibilities for both airlines and passengers.
