Discover the destination and its Health Tourism resources

On 26th April Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas and Commercial attaché Raimondas Martinavicius took part in the Presentation of Lithuania and its Health tourism resources at the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Hotel organized by the State Departament of Tourism and the Embassy of Lithuania to the State of Israel.

Acting Director of the State Department of Tourism Indrė Trakimaitė-Šeškuvienė made the presentation about latest developments in the health tourism sector for the biggest tour operators from the Israel. During the event, the local tour operators had the good opportunity to meet business partners from Lithuanian. More than 50 tour operators from the Israel attended the event.

According to the Bureau of Statistics of Lithuania, the number of tourists from Israel increased by more than 25 percent in 2016.

We expect this trend will continue in the coming years.
