Dr. Mordechai Zalkin was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merits to Lithuania

On the occasion of February 16th, the Day of Restoration of the State, the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda presented the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merits to Lithuania, to Dr. Mordechai Zalkin, Professor of Jewish History at Ben-Gurion University, prominent researcher of Lithuanian-Jewish history, promoter of Lithuanian-Jewish historical and cultural heritage in Israel.
