On 14 February 2009 in Jerusalem Artists’ House exhibition of contemporary Lithuanian photography, installation and video “(Re)collection” was opened. The exhibition examines the effects and mechanisms of memory.
Works of Lithuanian artists Artūras Valiauga, Ugnius Gelguda and Gintautas Trimakas were presented by the curator of the exhibition Agnė Narušytė. Ambassador of Lithuania to the State of Israel Asta Skaisgirytė Liauškienė welcomed the public having gathered in great numbers to the event. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania participated at the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition of contemporary Lithuanian photography-a joint project of Jerusalem Artists’ House, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the State of Israel.
