Expert on Litvak cuisine Mr. Gil Hovav will be visiting Lithuania

Yesterday's guest at the Lithuanian embassy - one of the most prominent Israel food critics, TV presenter, book author and expert on Litvak cuisine - Mr. Gil Hovav.

He will be visiting Lithuania on January 18-20 where he will meet representatives from various Lithuanian companies to discuss Israeli food cult and its newest tendencies, the influence of food on the Jewish culture and the potential role of Lithuania in the Israeli food sector.

Israel remains one of the priority and consistently growing export markets for Lithuania. Almost 30% of the Lithuanian export to Israel is agricultural produce and food products. Increasingly more Lithuanian companies receive kosher food certificates in order to expand their activities in the Israeli market.
