Freedom Defenders' Day

Today we celebrate our freedom! On that day 30 years ago when the Soviets sent tanks against peaceful civilians, Lithuania’s people have defended their right to be independent.

Today we remember our compatriots whose sacrifice allows us to enjoy our freedom. We will never forger the price of our victory.
