Future of the European Union was discussed in the Lithuanian Embassy
Lithuanian Embassy in Israel and the Israel Council on Foreign Relations (ICFR) have organized a Monthly Policy Talk on „Can the EU ‚Keep it Together‘?“.
Dr. Oded Eran, former Israeli Ambassador to the EU and Research Fellow at Institute for National Security Studies and Dr. Raphael Vago, Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow of the Department of History of Tel Aviv University have been panelists at the discussion. The Event was moderated by Ms. Gisela Dachs, Israel Correspondent of Die Zait. Audience was greeted by Dr. Laurence Weinbaum, Director of ICFR/Chief Editor of The Israel Journal of Foreign Affairs and Mr Ramūnas Davidonis, Deputy Head of Mission, Minister Counsellor. Representative of the Lithuanian Embassy stressed the need for the EU to strengthen its relations with neighborhood, especially its Eastern Partnership. The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of mass media and academia.
