G. Surplys Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania Visite to Israel

On 5-6 August Giedrius Surplys, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania accompanied by the high ranking business delegation visited Israel at the official invitation of Uri Yehuda Ariel, Minister of Agriculture of Isreal. During the meeting, two Ministers discussed future cooperation perspectives between our countries in the agricultural sector. A primary focus was a dairy sector. Minister G.Surplys had a roundtable discussion with representatives from "The Israeli Dairy Board" visited the biggest farm "Hof Hasharon Dairy" and leading dairy producer "Tara Dairies".

On 6 August Federation of Israeli Chamber of Commerce organized a seminar on market access issues and B2B meeting to the business delegation from Lithuania.
