Heroism of Sugihara remembered in Tel Aviv

Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas participated at the celebration of the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. During the event exhibition about Chiune Sugihara „Walk of Humanitarianism“ was presented. The heroism of Sugihara was mentioned in the congratulations speech to the participants by Minister of Justice A.Shaked. Chiune Sugihara saved thousands of lives of the European Jews in Lithuania.
