ISRAELI BUSINESS DELEGATION TO VISIT LITHUANIA
On 22nd May 2014 Ambassador of Lithuania to the State of Israel Darius Degutis met with the President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel Zvi Oren. During the meeting the upcoming visit to Lithuania on June 28 – July 1 of the Israeli business delegation, headed by Mr. Zvi Oren, was discussed. The priorities of the visit were defined -cooperation between the countries in sectors of high-tech, biotechnology and innovations.
Len Judes, the Chairman of the Israel – Lithuania Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented Israel – Lithuania High Tech Hub initiative. The prime purpose of this non - profit organization is to promote economic growth and technological innovation in Israel and Lithuania by creating a strong partnership between the countries. The Hub will have two offices, in Tel Aviv and Vilnius. The Israeli and Lithuanian companies that are interested in joint ventures are invited to join the Hub.
Mr. Zvi Oren has expressed his strong interest in further expanding economic cooperation between Lithuanian and Israel. Z. Oren extended his appreciation to Kristina Biraite, Lithuanian Embassy's Commercial Attache who is finishing her work in Israel.
