On 16 April 2010 exhibition of works of ink on paper by famous was opened in “Basis” school of sculpture in Hadassa Neurim. The exhibition is devoted to Leo Ray’s 60th anniversary.
Leo Ray ( Levas Rabšteinas), citizen of Lithuania and Israel, was born in Vilnius, graduated Vilnius university and Vilnius Academy of Art. Leo Ray is known in Lithuania as a calligrapher, creator of the medal art, master of drawing. In Lithuania he exhibited his drawings and paintings, participated in two Baltic trienals and two Lithuanian bienals of Medal Art.
Leo Ray is a worldwide known painter, his works were purchased by Art Museums of Lithuania, Russia, Israel, Croatia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Ghana.
The artist is residing in Israel, he teaches painting and calligraphy at “Basis” school of sculpture which was founded and is headed by a born and educated in Lithuania.sculptor David Zundelovitch.
Representatives of the Embassy of Lithuania in the State of Israel congratulated Leo Ray on his jubilee and the opening of the exhibition.
