LITHUANIA TO COOPERATE WITH ISRAEL IN INDUSTRIAL R&D

Lithuania and Israel will pursue cooperation in industrial research and development in line with the agreements signed in Israel by Lithuania’s Economy Minister Dainius Kreivys and Israeli Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor, Benyamin Ben-Eliezer.

“This agreement will contribute to the development and strengthening of Lithuanian and Israeli mutual cooperation in economy, industry, technologies and trade, promotion of innovations and economic growth. It will also strengthen the competitiveness of industry of both countries,” the Economy Ministry’s statement quoted Kreivys as saying.

Kreivys with the delegation accompanying Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius arrived on an official visit to Israel on Sunday, Dec. 19. The visit’s agenda includes meetings and round table discussions with the executive of Israeli’s business organizations, high-tech and investment companies.
