LITHUANIAN BUSINESS AND TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED IN TEL AVIV
On 12 June 2013 Lithuanian Embassy in Israel in cooperation with Lithuanian State Department of Tourism and economic agency “Enterprise Lithuania” organized event during which tourism and business opportunities were presented. Director General of State tourism department Raimonda Balnienė introduced to Israeli travellers Lithuanian attractions – vibrant cities, Jewish heritage, spa-and health tourism in resort areas, such as Druskininkai, Birštonas and Palanga. R. Balnienė also presented international Historical Amber Road, a global tourist network, which would promote events and routes related to amber widely recognized as Lithuanian treasure.
During the event the Tourism Department together with the Mayor of Birštonas Nijolė Dirginčienė organized a lottery, during which 4 participants of the event won accommodation packages in Lithuanian towns.
Dovydas Varkulevičius, the Director of Entrepreneurship department at the governmental agency “Enterprise Lithuania” presented business possibilities and the highly anticipated business conference „Life Science Baltics 2014” http://www.lsb2014.com/, which will take place in Vilnius in 2014.
