LITHUANIAN EMBASSY IN TEL AVIV THANKED ITS PARTNERS FOR ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR
On December 19, Lithuanian Embassy in Tel Aviv invited its partners from Israeli business organizations, governmental institutions and media, who contributed to the development of economic relations and tourism promotion between the two countries.
During his welcome address ambassador Darius Degutis thanked the guests for the successful cooperation during 2012. He noted that trade between two countries increased by more than 50% and tourism flow from Israel to Lithuania increased by 60. Ambassador also noted that during 2012 seasonal direct flights between Tel Aviv and Vilnius were launched and over 100 Israeli life sciences experts participated in international forum “Life Sciences Baltics 2012” which was held in Vilnius in September. D. Degutis also acquainted the guests with Lithuania's upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2013 and upcoming events.
