LITHUANIAN EU PRESIDENCY CONCLUDED IN THE RHYTHM OF JAZZ

On 14 December 2013 in Tel Aviv's famous jazz club “Shablul” the Lithuanian Embassy hosted the closing event of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. During the event Lithuanian jazz legends united in JAZZ 5 group headed by Leonidas Shinkarenko performed.
Despite the heavy snow storm which struck Israel last week, numerous guests - Israeli politicians, businessmen, representatives of culture and society, foreign diplomats attended the concert. The performance of Lithuanian jazz legends during which the greatest hits of JAZZ 5 were played was very warmly received by the audience. As the owner of “Shablul” jazz club E. Zak said it was one of the best concerts in the club's history.
