From August 1 to 13 2011, Lingua Lituanica will hold a two-week Lithuanian language Summer Course. Separate groups for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students are planned. The Course runs for 4-6 academic hours per day, with Language practice for 44 hours and Lithuanian history, literature and ethnology for 6 hours. The Course is based on the ‘communicative style’, which combines speaking, listening, reading and writing, along with elements of traditional, ‘suggestopedia’, and ‘transmission’ teaching styles. Students will participate in interesting activities to develop their communication skills and enjoy a diverse cultural programme. There will also be a chance to interact with Lithuanian photographers and painters at the ‘Gallery’ located in Lingua Lituanica’s building.
Languages of instruction
English, Russian, French, Italian, Lithuanian.

The Centre is conveniently located at Gedimino ave. 26 (3rd floor), just 6 minutes from the Cathedral.
From the bus and train station: Take trolley #2 and #5 or bus #53 to the "Vilniaus" stop (5 bus stops). From the airport: Take bus #2 to "Lukiškės" stop (9 bus stops).
Price/ Certification
The course costs 1400 Lt. Students will get a Lithuanian language Summer Course Certificate.
