Lithuanian spa hotels attracting Israeli tourists
This year Lithuania was presented in tourism exhibition IMTM 2015 by some exclusive hotels specialising in balneotherapy and thalassotherapy treatments: Palanga SPA, SPA Vilnius Group, Eglės sanatorija, IDW Esperanza Resort and Green Vilnius Hotel.
All these hotels which established in exceptional locations such as major resort towns Druskininkai, Birstonas and Palanga, capital city Vilnius and also in Trakai National Park provide 5 or 4 star level accommodation and spa services.
Lithuania as a new tourist destination is gaining more and more international recognition in recent years. A leading tourist guidebook publisher Lonely Planet included Lithuania as No 3 holiday destination into the list of TOP-10 countries to visit in 2015. IDW Esperanza Resort hotel which participated in IMTM 2015 was selected by leading travel web site TripAdvisor as one of 25 best hotels in Europe.
Flow of tourism from Israel doubled during the past two years and Lithuania is seen as a raising holiday destination for Israeli tourists. Lithuanian participants believe that direct contacts with Israeli customers and tourism companies during the exhibition will open new holiday possibilities for Israeli tourists.
