LITHUANIAN TEAM WON THE 3RD ANNUAL FRIENDSHIP GAMES

International basketball tournement called the 3rd Annual Friendship Games started on 30 May, 2008 at Tel Aviv University and run through 5 June. Among the countries competing in this year’s event there were Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Russia, Germany, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Republic of Cyprus, Ireland, China, Italy, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Greece, Slovenia, Portugal, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola and Serbia. In the finals Lithuanian Vytautas Magnus University men team has beaten the Israeli Tel Aviv University team and won the main prize.
