LITHUANIAN TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED IN TEL AVIV
On 11 February 2014 in Tel Aviv Lithuanian Embassy in Israel together with Lithuanian State Department of Tourism organized the Lithuanian tourism event which attracted much attention from the Israeli tour operators and journalists. Director General of Lithuanian State Department of Tourism Mrs. Raimonda Balnienė presented to the guests Lithuanian tourism opportunities, health and wellness tourism, Lithuania's worldwide virtual amber road initiative and unique country’s Jewish heritage.
The Mayor of Birštonas Nijolė Dirginčienė introduced Lithuanian resorts and various recreational activities.
A vivid and catching presentation about Lithuania was also delivered by the renown Israeli travel writer Omri Galperin.
On 12 February 2014 in the framework of the International Tourism Exhibition IMTM 2014, which takes place in Tel Aviv, the Lithuanian tour operator “All year Baltics” organized the tourism seminar with the emphasis on Jewish heritage in Lithuania.
