Lithuania's Foreign Minister G. Landsbergis 1-3 March visit in Israel.
In Tel Aviv, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also met with the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and discussed in detail the security situation in Europe, the Middle East and the efforts of the international community to strengthen the rules-based order.
On 2 March in Jerusalem, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis met with Israel’s President Isaac Herzog and the Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
During the meeting, Lithuanian and Israeli diplomats discussed bilateral relations, the world’s security situation and the international community’s efforts to help Ukraine fight against Russia’s brutal aggression.
After the meeting, the Lithuanian and Israeli diplomats signed the Programme of Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Government of the State of Israel in the fields of education, science, culture, youth and sport for 2023-2025, as well as Lithuanian-Israeli memorandums on developing cooperation in innovation and cyber security.
