LITHUNIAN UNVIRESITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES INVITES ISRAELI YOUTH TO STUDY IN LITHUANIA
On 16-17 January 2014, the study programs of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences were presented in Tel Aviv, Israel. The event attracted a high interest from the Israeli youth.
The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is well known in Israel. Students from Israel have been studying medicine in Kaunas for already 20 years – since 1994. Presently around 100 Israelis are studying at the university.
On 20 January 2014, the Dean of the International Relations and Study Centre of the University Prof. Ž. Padaiga visited the Embassy and met with Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel D. Degutis and Commercial Attache K. Biraitė. During the meeting parties discussed the possibilities of promoting Lithuanian education in Israel and the importance of expanding cooperation in the field of R&D between the universities in both countries.
