LSMU Alumni meeting in Tel Aviv

More than 200 participants took part in the Alumni meeting of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) held in Tel Aviv yesterday.

Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania Edminas Bagdonas, Chairman of the Committee of Lithuanian Parliament Raimundas Paliukas, chief executives of the LSMU and Kaunas University Hospital welcomed participants of this event. Achievements and future plans of the LSMU were also presented to the public.

The distinguished Alumni of the LSMU, including Director of Schneider Children’s Medical Centre prof. Joseph Press, received awards on this occasion.

More than 400 doctors graduated from the LSMU live and work in Israel. The LSMU is becoming an attractive place for medical studies – currently 110 students from Israel choose to study in Kaunas.
