On 8 April 2010 Ambassador of  Lithuania to the State of Israel Darius Degutis had a meeting with Moshe Ya‘alon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategic Affairs of the State of Israel.    

On 11-13 April 2010 Deputy Prime Minister will be accompanying to Lithuania participants of the „March of the Living“ programme organized  for a second consecutive year by the Israeli Vilna and Vilna vicinity Jewish association together with the Lithuanian Embassy in Israel.     

During the meeting positive dynamics of bilateral relations between Israel and Lithuania which is demonstrated by regular meetings of  high level officials was noted. The programme of the Deputy Prime minister‘s visit to Lithuania, bilateral economic cooperation, expansion of tourism as well as the issue of  direct air flights were discussed at the meeting.
