MEETING WITH MAYOR OF GILBOA REGION

On 3 August 2010 ambassador Darius Degutis had a meeting with the Mayor of Gilboa region Daniel Atar.

During the meeting, the Mayor informed about implementation of EU supported Gilboa (Israel) – Jenin (Palestinian Authority) industrial zone project that will connect businesses of two neighbouring regions.

D. Atar also told that it is planned to establish basketball academy in Gilboa, the mayor would be interested to pay a visit to Lithuania and gain experience from Lithuanian basketball schools.
