MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION OF ISRAEL

On November 21, 2007 the President of Manufacturers’ Association of Israel Mr Shraga Brosh paid a visit to the Lithuanian Embassy in Tel Aviv. In a meeting with the Lithuanian Ambassador Mrs Asta Skaisgiryte Liauskiene the possibilities to expand bilateral economic and trade relations were discussed. It was stated that the turnover of bilateral trade between Lithuania and Israel has increased two times since 2004 when Lithuania joined the European Union. 25 Israeli enterprises are investing in Lithuania.
The President of the Manufacturers’ Association supported the idea to establish a bilateral Israel – Lithuania Chamber of Commerce in the nearest future.
