MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF ISRAEL

On 3 August 2011 Ambassador of Lithuania Darius Degutis had a meeting with the president of the Manufacturers Association of Israel Mr. Shraga Brosh, who has family roots in Lithuania. Lithuanian Honorary Consuls in Israel Mr. Haim Ariel and Mr. Amnon Dotan also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the preparation for the upcoming visit on September 21-23 of the minister of Trade, Industry and Labor of Israel Mr. Shalom Simhon to Lithuania were discussed. The importance of Israeli business delegation which will accompany the Minister was acknowledged. Israeli business delegation will be represented by 20 companies, primarily representing the sectors of high-tech, bio-tech, innovations, medicine, agriculture and tourism.

Mr. Shraga Brosh has expressed his interest in further expanding economic cooperation between Lithuanian and Israel.
