Minister of Economy of Lithuania Dainius Kreivys who is on an official visit to Israel had a meeting with the Minister of Industry of Trade of Israel B. Ben-Eliezer on 14 June 2010. During the meeting the Israeli Minister noted that Israel has a highly developed industry of high technologies and is open for cooperation in developing joint projects with Lithuanian enterprises. The Minister of Economy of Lithuania stressed that Lithuanian Government pays special attention to attracting foreign investment and invited Israeli companies to invest in Lithuania. He has also invited the Minister of Industry and Trade of Israel to pay a visit Lithuania.

On the same day the Minister of Economy of Lithuania met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Mr. A. Liberman. Both sides were happy to acknowledge that bilateral cooperation between the two countries is intensifying and discussed the visit of Minister A. Liberman and Israeli business delegation to Lithuania on 7-8 July 2010.
