MINISTER OF INDUSTRY, TRADE AND LABOR OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL AND LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR DISCUSSED EXPANSION OF ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES
On 8th August 2012 Ambassador of Lithuania Israel Darius Degutis met with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Labour of the State of Israel Shalom Simhon.
Both sides expressed satisfaction at the excellent development of economic cooperation and full agenda of bilateral relations.
It was noted, that in September three Israeli delegations will visit Lithuania: Minister of Agriculture of the State of Israel Orit Noked will pay a reciprocal visit to Lithuania on 20-21 September, around 100 leading Israeli scientists and businessmen will participate in “Life Science Baltic 2012” event which will take place in Vilnius on 12-14 September. Also a group of Israeli journalists will visit Lithuania at the beginning of September on a tourism promotion tour.
During the meeting Ambassador Degutis extended invitation of the Minister of Economy of Lithuania R.Žylius to the Minister Sh. Simhon to visit Lithuania on the occasion of „Life Science Baltics2012“.
