On June 2 Lithuanian ambassador to the State of Israel Darius Degutis was received by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor of Israel Shalom Simhon. Sh. Simhon emphasized the huge potential of Lithuanian-Israeli economic relations. It was noticed that an opening of Israeli embassy in Vilnius and direct flights between Israel and Lithuania would have a very positive impact on bilateral cooperation.
A visit by the delegation led by the Minister of Tourism of Israel to Lithuania is also planned this July.
