MINISTRY OF ENERGY OF LITHUANIA ON LOOKOUT FOR NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENERGY SYSTEM IN ISRAEL
Lithuanian Energy Minister Arvydas Sekmokas is trying to make contacts with Israel's advanced technology companies whose experience could be used in Lithuania's energy sector.
"High technologies are already changing the electricity sector. The main aim of this visit is to get acknowledged with the latest proposals available in the market and establish contacts between Israeli and Lithuanian companies. In this respect, the first day of the visit proved to be successful," Sekmokas said in a press release.
The Energy Minister is visiting Israel together with the top executives of Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy), Lesto and Technologiju ir Inovaciju Centras (Technology and Innovation Center).
As part of its three-day working visit that started on Monday November 14, the Lithuanian delegation has visited Computerized Electricity Systems, Panoramic Power, QIC Izrael and Greenlet Technologies.
Sekmokas is visiting Tel Aviv at the invitation of by Shalom Simhon, the Israeli Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor. He is also scheduled to meet with Uzi Landau, the Israeli Minister of National Infrastructure.
