Official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania to the State of Israel
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuanian Mr. Saulius Skvernelis will be paying his first official visit to the State of Israel from 28 to 30 January 2019.
During the visit Mr. Saulius Skvernelis will have a meeting with the President of the State of Israel Mr. Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu. The politicians are planning to discuss the security problems of the Baltic Sea and Middle East, economic cooperation between the countries, the relations of Israel with the European Union.
Mr. Saulius Skvernelis will also participate at the bilateral business forum, at the cyber security conference “CyberTech 2019” and at the conference, dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance day. During the conference, Mr. Skvernelis will have a meeting with members of litvaks organizations and of the Community of Lithuanians in Israel "Nerija". The Prime Minister will visit the World Holocaust Remembrance Center "Yad Vashem".
