OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “A KADDISH FOR THE WOODEN SYNAGOGUES OF LITHUANIA”

On 6 February during the opening of the exhibition “A Kaddish for the Wooden Synagogues of Lithuania” at the Vilnius town hall, Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Asta Skaisgirytė Liauškienė thanked organizers for their attention to this unique cultural heritage of Lithuania. The exhibition consists of photographs of the remaining abandoned wooden synagogues in Pakruojis, Seda, Laukuva, Rozalimas and other localities in Lithuania. The exhibition was organized by the Jakovas Bunka Charity and Sponsorship Fund.
