PRESENTATION OF VANDA JUNKAITE’S BOOK IN ISRAEL

On 23 June a book of Lithuanian writer Vanda Juknaite נהגה בחשחה was presented to the Israeli readers in “Sipur Pashut” bookstore in Tel Aviv. Sivan Beskin translated the book from the Lithuanian language to Hebrew, it was published by ASIA publishers.

The book was presented by its translator Sivan Beskin and writer Marit Ben-Israel. They very sincerely and emotionally spoke about the book which presents conversations with children in critical situations (orphans, disabled, socially neglected), conversations which reveal the glimpse of light and hope in the life of darkness.
