THe diplomats from the Embassy of Lithuania visited Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center
On October 17th diplomats from the Embassy of Lithuania visited Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – one of the biggest hospitals in Israel. During the visit diplomats from 30 Embassies had a chance to witness hospital's preparedness during times of crisis as well as hear the stories of patients who survived the heinous Hamas terror attacks. Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center has more than 15,000 hospital beds, the most modern telemedicine center in Israel, and the largest number of surgery rooms, which are also located underground, in order to ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical services in times of war or other crises. Currently, more than 200 Israelis and foreigners, as well as residents of the Gaza Strip, who suffered from the Hamas attacks are being treated in the hospital.
