The famous Israeli actor, Dov Glickman, on becoming a proud citizen of the Republic of Lithuania

16 of November at embassy we extended our congratulations to the famous Israeli actor, Dov Glickman, on becoming a proud citizen of the Republic of Lithuania!

Dov Glickman is perhaps best known for his role as Rabbi Shulem Shtisel in one of the most acclaimed Israeli television dramas of our time, "Shtisel". He has also won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Actor several times.

Although Dov Glickman himself has not yet visited Lithuania, today's meeting was surrounded by a special nostalgia, as Dov's mother Dvora originated from the small Lithuanian town Dotnuva in Kedainiai district.
