The Speaker of the Seimas met with the President of Israel

The Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen met with the President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog on 9 February, the third day of her official visit to the State of Israel.

During the meeting the particular attention was paid to the friendship and close cooperation between the countries. The tension near the border of Ukraine and the importance of the unity of the democratic states were also discussed.
