THE VISIT OF LITHUANIAN MINISTER OF HEALTH TO THE STATE OF ISRAEL

On November 27-30, 2011 the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania Raimondas Šukys is visiting the State of Israel. During the visit Minister Šukys will participate at the First World Health Organization European Conference on the New European Policy for Health – Health 2020. The European Region plans formally to endorse the Health Policy 2020 in September 2012.

On 28 November Lithuanian Minister of Health Raimondas Šukys and the Israeli Deputy Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman discussed the possibilities to strengthen bilateral cooperation, exchange of the know-how. Both Parties agreed to sign the bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of health. The process on preparation of the agreement will be started in the nearest future.
