Tribute to Righteous diplomats, including Sugihara and Zwartendijk, at the Israeli MFA

Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas participated at the impressive tribute to ‘Righteous diplomats’ who saved Jews during WWII, among them Japanese diplomat Ch.Sugihara and Dutch acting consul Jan Zwartendijk who worked in Kaunas.

Prime Minister of Israel B.Netanyahu unveiled special site at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the ceremony ambassador Bagdonas met with Nina Admoni who was saved by Sugihara.
