VISIT TO EILAT

On 14-15 January 2009 Ambassador Darius Degutis visited Eilat, Israel's southernmost city, which is a popular resort located by the Red Sea, and also a busy port.

During the visit ambassador had a meeting with Mayor of Eilat Meir Yitzhak Halevi and Chairman of Eilat Chamber of Commerce Dani Lakav.

During the meeting possibilities of tourism from Lithuania to Eilat were discussed, as well as cooperation between Eilat and Lithuanian cities and the participation of Lithuanian musicians in Eilat jazz and chamber music festivals.
