VISIT TO OSEM MANUFACTURY

On 8^th of June 2010 aambassador D. Degutis visited the Osem company in Sderot. Osem is one of the largest food manufacturers and distributors in Israel. The Sderot plant, established in 1979, is Osem’s southern-most manufacturing point in Israel. This plant, which in the early 1980s produced pasta, has developed into a highly advanced production plant with a wide and varied range of activities. Today, there are three main departments at the Sderot plant – the snacks department, the culinary department and the oil department.
